Rev. Katherine Pater, El Salvador Mission Co-Worker and Rev. Jim Howland, moderator of the Des Moines Presbytery
On Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the 491st Stated Meeting of the Des Moines Presbytery, we were pleased to install our new mission co-worker to El Salvador. The Rev. Katherine Pater was ordained on December 9, 2012 in her home town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and left for Berlin, Usulutan, El Salvador on Saturday, January 26th. She is residing at Las Casa Pastoral in Berlin with the Pastoral Team of Our Sister Parish. Katherine is the third full-time mission co-worker to serve this mission partnership of the Presbytery of Des Moines.
